A Famille Rose Porcelain Vase The globular body rising from a short foot to a profiled shoulder set with a tapering neck and everted rim, painted in famille rose enamels with the ’hundred antiques’ motif, including flowers and plants issuing from vases and jardinières, each raised on a table or stand, along with a wrapped and beribboned qin, scholars’ rocks, a butterfly and a Buddha’s hand citron, the opposite side decorated with birds among flowers such as magnolia, peony and bamboo issuing from a scholar’s rock by the base, all between decorative borders encircling the foot, shoulder and rim, the recessed base glazed.
