A Fine Chinese Famille Rose Porcelain ’Cricket’ Vase Delicately potted, the globular body rising from a straight foot to a tapering neck with a flared mouth and inverted rim, the exterior finely decorated with a cricket and flowering branches in famille rose enamels, the reverse with four lines of calligraphy in black and three seals in iron-red, the mouth with a greek-key frieze above a border of ruyi-heads suspending pearl garlands in blue enamel, a greek-key band encircling the foot, the recessed base with a four-character seal mark of Qianlong within a double square in blue enamel. Period: Republic (1912‑1949), or mid 20th century. Height: 10 cm.
