A WUCAI 'DRAGON AND PHOENIX' BOWL.-1

Exterior met twee striding dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls, alternating with descending long-tailed phoenix, all amidst meandering leafy scrolls and below a band containing the Eight Buddhist Emblems, bajixiang, at the rim, the interior with a central medallion enclosing a writhing iron-red dragon. Daoguang mark and probably of the period (1821-1850). Diameter c. 15 cm. Condition Wear and firing defects. Cracks. It's repaired.
