A rare set of six Kangxi-style 19th century café-au-lait-ground, famille verte enameled cups and saucers decorated with a lotus pond scene with fishes and kingfishers. The base of both cup and saucer has an iron-red rabbit within an underglaze blue double circle. Dimensions: Saucers: W12.3 x H2 cm (approx.) Cups: W8.5 x H4.5 cm (approx.) Conditions (UV checked): Saucers: 1: Small rim frit on the lobbed rim. 2: a couple of tiny rim frits on the lobbed rim. 3: a star shaped crack in the base. 4: Flakes and chips on the lobbed rim. 5: a re-glued shard of the rim and a hairline. 6: a shard missing of the rim and a rim frit. Cups: 1: Two tiny rim frits on the lobbed rim. 2: One tiny rim frit on the lobbed rim. 3: Small baking flaw, no damage. 4: Two hairlines off which one has an associated chip. 5: Two tiny rim frits and one chip on the lobbed rim. 6: Two tiny rim frits and two shallow flakes on the lobbed rim.
