Four Chinese Porcelain Bowls and Covers and a Box and Cover Comprising: two blue and white 'dragon and phoenix' bowls and covers, the base and top of the cover with a seal mark; a 'Buddhist lion' bowl and cover, the base and top of the cover with a ribbon mark; a blue and white bowl and cover, the base and top of the cover with a four-character mark; and an iron-red-decorated 'shou and lotus' box and cover, the base with a seal mark of Daoguang in iron-red. Period: late Qing (1644-1912), and later. Height of the bowls and covers: 9-9.5 cm. Proveniens The bowls were formerly in the estate of the Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Finland in China, 1964-1967. The box formerly from a Norwegian private collection.
