FOUR CHINESE WUCAI JARS AND COVERS

Four Chinese Wucai Jars and Covers Comprising: one large pair and one smaller pair, all decorated in wucai enamels with a design of foo lions gambolling among dense scrolling peony and tulips, the larger pair with spiral work around the shoulder and flame pattern around the neck, the domed cover with knop finial and decorated with peony, the smaller pair with stylised wave scroll around the neck, the covers with petal decoration. Period: 17th century and later. Height: 12‑20 cm.
