Jar with lid China. Early 1900s.

Height 32 cm Baluster-shaped with a high neck. Vaulted lid with onion button. Hand-painted décor in familiar verte-enamel colours. Panels with motifs of a lotus pond with insect, with floral decorations, and "scholar's rock", bamboo and flowers. Condition Age-related wear and tear. A larger grudge on the edge of the lid and one on the inside. A few minimal grudges at the bottom towards the bottom.
