Height 36 cm Diameter 20 cm High-shouldered jar with high neck, and vaulted lid with unfolded muzzle rim and bud-shaped onion button. Hand-painted décor in famille verte-enamel colours. Depicts a motif of birds among various plants and flowers, insects, "scholar's rock" and rock formations. Geometric floral pattern on the mouth rim of the lid and the shoulders of the jar. Six-character apocryphal Kangxi mark under the bottom in cobalt blue subglaze. Secondary foot in carved and lacquered wood. Age-related wear and tear. Minor irregularities, crimp cracks and ash/sand residues from production are not described. Hidden cracks or damage can occur on older objects. 157306-1
