Blue and black Kesi silk woven with nine silver-colored dragons, clouds, ocean waves and auspicious symbols, with black striped typical Manchu sleeves. Gold-colored Kinran Wanzi trims. Buttoned on the sides with knot closure and embossed metal buttons. L. ca. 145 cm Kesi: a precious silk fabric from the imperial factory. PROVENANCE: Private collection in northern Germany, owned by the family for over 100 years. Condition Left lower sleeve seams loosened in places. Inner sleeves and surface occasionally discolored. 33124
