Late Ming Dynasty, bulbous vase decorated with courtly figures and a pagoda in a landscape setting, within leaf panels and blue lines, hare mark to the base, 21 cm high. Frits and various chips to the top and sides of the rim, minor glaze defects and cracks to the glaze, other wear consistent with age and use. Bottom, the side of the base where the glaze is slightly flaking. Purchased a few years ago from an English auction house.
