Height 28 cm Diameter 12 cm Triple spherical shape with high neck and trumpet-shaped muzzle, standing on low foot. Hand-painted décor in cobalt blue underglaze. The lower part is divided into four panels with different plant and flower motifs with butterflies. Various flowers and flower medallions on the upper spheres, and stylized leaf shapes on the high neck. Compare to lot no. 215, Bonham's London in 2015. The vase can also be compared to a similar vase with a figural motif in August den Sterke's collection with inventory number N 276. In the inventory of 1721 are catalogued six "bouteillen mit drei Bauchen" (bottles of three stomachs). Four of these are still in the collection at the Zwinger Museum in Dresden. 157825-1
