Vase China. Republic (1912-49).

Height 25.5 cm Hand-painted décor in familiar rose-enamel colours. Depicts a plum tree in bloom with two birds, surrounded by rocks and various plants and flowers. Glazed in turquoise under the base with a hand-painted mark in iron red, probably for the Jurentang. Age-related wear and tear. A crack (approx. 10 cm) on the upper part of the vase. Minor irregularities, shrinkage cracks and ash/sand residues from production are not described. Hidden cracks or damage may occur on older items.
